Table View

The Table View presents your nodes in a structured table format, allowing for an organized and customizable display of information.

Here’s how you can utilize the Table View effectively:

Customizing Your Table

  • Column Selection:

    • Choose which columns to display in your table. These columns represent various properties of the nodes, providing the information most relevant to your needs.

    • Access the column selection by clicking the 3 dots at the end of the column header row. This opens a modal where you can choose which node properties to display as columns.

  • Reorder Columns: Drag columns to rearrange them directly in the table, or adjust their order in the column selection modal by moving them up or down.

  • Resize Columns: Hover over the column header to adjust the width for better visibility of content.

  • Deleting Columns: To remove a column from your table, simply go to the column selection modal and click the 'X' next to the column name you wish to delete. This will update your table display to better suit your current needs.

Layouts

Layouts allow you to save and manage custom table configurations, offering a seamless way to handle information across all workspaces. Here's what you need to know about layouts:

  • Save Configurations: Once you've customised your table with the columns you wish to display, you can save this setup as a layout. This makes it easy to retrieve and utilise the same view without having to select your preferred columns each time.

  • Available Across Workspaces: These saved layouts are accessible in all your workspaces, ensuring consistency and efficiency no matter where you're working.

  • Switching Layouts: You can quickly switch between different layouts based on your current needs, making it simple to focus on various types of information or project views.

Layouts enhance the flexibility of Table View by providing quick access to your preferred ways of viewing node data, regardless of workspace.

Functional Features

  • Relearning Nodes: Perform certain actions directly within the table, such as relearning nodes. This makes it easy to update your nodes without leaving the table view.

  • Sorting Nodes: You can sort nodes alphabetically by clicking on the node column header, by creation date, or by the last modified date by clicking on the respective column headers. This helps you quickly organize and find the information you need.

  • Shortcuts: Right-click on any node or the 3 dots at the end of a row to access various options:

    • Add Search Filters: Use the node as a filter to display only related items.

    • Exclude from Search: Filter out this item and show unrelated content.

    • Select: Enable bulk actions like sending nodes to trash, connecting to another node, assigning to a different workspace, or adding properties.

    • Open Website (Website nodes only): Opens a website in a new tab.

    • Preview (File nodes only): Provide a preview of a file.

    • Send to Trash: Move a node to the trash.
