Add myGenie to your SharePoint Site

You can add myGenie directly within your SharePoint site, so you and your team can query it directly from SharePoint. Once you have received the Extension Link from myReach, log in to your SharePoint account, and follow these steps:

Step 1:
Open /sites/appcatalog/AppCatalog/Forms/AllItems.aspx and drop the extension there.

Step 2:
Go to the page, top right corner, the cog wheel, and go to add an app and select the extension.

Step 3:
In the page, create a list called MyGenieSettings with the columns Title and Value.

Step 4:
Within this list, create the following item: - id (mandatory) -> the ID of the myGenie widget

Step 5:
The Microsoft Entra application specified in the MyGenieSettings list must contain the custom scope with this exact name myGenie.Authenticate. The application's name should be myReach.

Important

The site where this extension is installed requires the manual creation of a list named MyGenieSettings.
- This list must have two columns: Title and Value. - This list must contain the following items: id, domain, apiUrl.
