AI Features

Where we use AI features

Preview Node Content

When you want to see what's inside a node (ie. the text of a document or website article), you can click on the three dots button (top of the screen) and choose "Preview Node Content." The AI extracts the text and gives you the full text of the node.
This is particularly useful to extract and transcribe the audio of YouTube videos. The extracted text can then be converted into a Note, by clicking the "Convert text into a Note" option at the bottom of the screen.

Extracted URLs

If there are URLs (web links) in your content, myReach extracts them and recommends them as separate Nodes. You can choose whether to save them in myReach or not. It’s like finding related information that you might want to explore further.

You can access extracted links from the ⚡️ button in the Relationships tab of a Node. You'll find the Extracted URLs there.

Properties

Certain properties are automatically extracted by AI, providing additional information and insights. These include AI status, Summary, Wikipedia-extracted descriptions, detected tags and URLs. These properties help you understand and manage your data better.

Similar Nodes

When you add a node, AI identifies the highly relevant and similar nodes from your entire knowledge base and shows them in the Similar Nodes tab.

For every node saved, the AI learns it and scans your entire knowledge base using vector embedding to determine the relevance of nodes to each other and identify those that are msot semantically similar to it.

These are shown in the "Similar Nodes" tab, which displays a list of nodes with a % similarity ranking of your entire knowledge base, indicating how closely they relate to the node you're currently viewing.

The minimum similarity percentage for inclusion in this list is set to 88%. Nodes with an 88% or higher similarity are listed, providing valuable connections within your knowledge base.
